Food Truck Friday Kick Off, Red Deer AB | 11 AM - 2 PM
Cowboy Country Music Weekend, David Thompson Resort | The David Thompson Resort located west of Red Deer invites you to their 12th Annual Cowboy Country Music Weekend! This a yearly festival that spans over an entire weekend. This years festival has a new feature... the 1st Annual Country Cowboy Talent Show! The winner will get to perform on the Mainstage where such artists as Two Bad Apples, Lori Kole, Tristan Horncastle and many more will also be performing! There will also be door prizes, contests, a Saturday steak BBQ, and a dance on Friday night!

Kerry Wood Nature Center Book & Bake Sale| 10 AM – 4 PM | Stop by for good reads and good eats! The Kerry Wood Nature Centre is hosting a sale of both books and homemade baked goods! Feel free to donate a used/new book at any time during the sale. Baked goods donations are also accepted - preferably near the beginning of the sale.
Benefit on the Bridge, Red Deer AB | 8 PM – 12 PM | The 2nd Annual Benefit on the Bridge fundraiser for the Centrefest Street Performer Festival is Saturday. There will be music by the Overdue Blues Band, food trucks and a cash bar! Tickets are $35 and are available at the Black Knight Ticket Centre. You must be 18 years or older.

Youth Bike Rodeo, Blackfalds | 9:45 AM – 12:45 PM | This is a great way for your kids to learn all about bike safety and other important biking lessons! The Bike Rodeo is a unique, hands-on, educational in which participants learn about cycling techniques, obeying traffic signals, and the laws of road use. On top of these events there will be a free BBQ, prizes, and a helmet upon participation!
